RIFLE SHOOTING
RAN GIT AIKI DEFENCE CLUB, The Rangitaiki Defence Rifle Club held a practice shoot last Saturday. Floods prevented shooters coming from Whakatane, Taneatua and Awakeri districts. The conditions were seven shots at 200 and 300 yards. Drizzling rain fell throughout most of the shooting. Mayo was in form and made top score with 66. The next shoot will be held on Saturday, July 26.
