BEEKEEPERS MEET

FULL. ATTENDANCE OFFICERS ELECTED There was practically a full attendance of beekeepers at the annual meeting held at Mr Hubbard’s residence on Tuesday evening, June 24. Mr Hubbard, the president, welcomed all present and spoke on the progress of the Society during the year. The minutes and financial report was read and adopted. Officers for the coming year elected were: — President: Mr McMahon. Vice-president: Mr Petty. Secretary and Treasurer: Mrs D. C. Petty. Mr Paterson, the Apairy Instructor, was present and congratulated the asociation on the activities during the past year. He thanked the members for the help and co-opera-tion they had given him in his work in the district. Appreciation was also expressed to Mr Hubbard for the use of his home for the holding of the meetings. A film depicting the life and work of the honeybee was shown and was enjoyed'by all.
