CLEMENT Q. WILLIAMS FORTHCOMING VISIT Press criticisms from Australia and Canada testify to the exceptional artistry of the distinguished Australian lyric baritone, Clement Q. Williams, who is to visit Whakatane on Wednesday, July 9, under the auspices of Community Arts Service. “Keen musical sensitivity,” perfection of rhythm and diction, “master of interpretation and humour” are some of the glowing tributes paid. With an effortless and agreeable platform manner, Mr Williams has no difficulty in making himself at home with his audiences.
He has just completed ,s a tour of North Auckland towns, where he has delighted his hearers with his varied programme, appealing to all tastes. It may be long before such a fine singer, musician and entertainer visits Whakatane again.
