MAY CUT DOWN COSTS Research into laundry problems, a matter of considerable importance to all hospital boards, was the subject of a letter from the Health Department, which contemplates carrying out research in Dunedin on behalf of boards.

The Bay of Plenty Hospital Board agreed on Thursday to become a contributing body in this matter, the chairman remarking that the board’s share of expense might not exceed £lO and it would be money well spent if laundry costs were eventually reduced.
