A CHEERFUL MESSAGE FROM ENGLAND

PUBLISHED in another column is a letter telling how welcome were the clothes in a case sent to "Britain by the Whakatane Lady Galway Guild. This letter will be read with interest by all jWho sympathise with the people of the Old Country in their post-war troubles. It must be gratifying not only to the guild members, but also all who have sent along gifts of clothes, to know that this well-filled case of clothes from Whakatane was on hand just when and where it was needed. This information should give encouragement to people who contemplate continuing the good work of sending similar gifts to Britain.
