Coming Films Mr A. R. Chapman, manager of Whakatane Amusements Ltd., has recently returned from a visit to Auckland to arrange for a series of motion pictures for the theatres. He was fortunate in securing early screenings, of “Dark Corner,” “Seventh Veil,” “A-Stolen Life,” “Bells of St. Mary” and “Quiet Weekend.” The films will follow each other in the above order and will all be shown. “Quiet Weekend” has been showing in Auckland for a very long season and this is a very early release for a country district.
