WHAKATANE MEN’S CLUB The effort put into earlier starting last Saturday was well worth while, and the result was that all games were finished in comfortable time. Similar methods will be necessary on the next two Saturday’s, in fact, for the remainder of the season, as the men’s membership list is now approaching the hundred mark. The local rule regarding placing on the fairways will apply up to next weekend, after which the ball, will be played where it lies.
