WHAKATANE HUNT CLUB

A TOUCH of Old England is lent by the activities of the local Hunt Club. The organisation now in its second, season has made remarkable progress and enjoys a membership which eclipses many other country clpbs in the North Island. The Eastern Bay has ever been regarded as a district of horse-lovers and followers of the hounds are naturally more numerous here than in other centres. The warmest congratulations must be extended the committee and officials who have guided the club along its conspicuously successful course.
