Heavy Seas The rain squalls and strong easterly weather over the weekend whipped up heavy seas along the coast line. At the Heads and at Ohope Beach the breakers reached / spectacular proportions. Debt Cases Judgment for plaintiff was entered in the following cases heard before Mr E. L. Wa-lton in the Whakatane Court last Wednesday: W. H. Lynds v Ihaia Tominaka Hereniho, £l9 10s 7d (costs 675); R. S. Ricketts v Purewai, £l4 10s (69/6). Judgment summons: Maple Furnishing Co. Ltd. v V. Paul, £5 Is in default five days.
