RIFLE SHOOTING
RANGITAIKI CLUB SATURDAY’S CONTEST Last Saturday the Rangitaiki Club held their usual fortnightly shoot, conditions were seven shots at 500 and 600 yards. A fresh wind was blowing accompanied by occasional showers. All those using open sights were in trouble at 600 yards owing to having no windage adjustment. Davies made top score for the day with 67. ' The next shoot will be held on Saturday, April 26, ranges being 500 and 600 yards.
