RIFLE SHOOTING
RANGITAIKI DEFENCE CILUB FINE MARKSMANSHIP SHOWN The Rangitaiki Rifle Club held another successful practice shoot recently. The conditions were seven shots at 500 and 600 yards. Davies shot with his usual consistency and made top score for the day. A feature of the day was the fine score put up by the veteran shot, S. Mikkelsen, also the shoot at 500 yards by the 14-year-old Allan Moore who just missed the possible. McGillan showed great improvement by shooting himself into third place. The next shoot will be held on Saturday, April 12, ranges 500 and" 600 yards. Details were as under:— 500yds 600yds Tl.
