This took the form of a launch trip up the river. Although the weather was not all that could be desired the members and friends *who made the trip spent a most enjoyable day. Leaving the wharf about 10.30 a.m. the launch proceeded up to the bridge where the party landed and had lunch. After a short spell the party came back and landed over on the feandhills where a few games were played and. afternoon tea was partaken of. About this time it started to rain so it was a case of all aboard and back home to the wharf after quite a nice trip. Next Saturday afternoon the club intends to hold its closing day and some good racing should be witnessed by those interested. The trophy will be the Mick Armstrong Memorial Cup and the races will take the form of a Yankee Tournament.
