WEEKEND PLAY

The result of a Picnic Tournament held on Sunday last on the local greens was a win for Currah’s team after some keen play. Playing consistent bowls all day, two teams, skipped by C. Good and E. Currah respectively, won all five games in their sections. In the final (of 5 ends) Currah’s team proved the winners 9 —o.

The winning team was J. Bell, J. Wilson, S. J. McKenzie, E. Currah (s), the runners-up P. Sims, C. Loane, D. Butler, C. W. Good.
