WHAKATANE BOWLING CLUB I CHAMPIONSHIP PAIRS The Champion Pairs competition commenced at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning, twenty-four pairs having entered. Three rounds were completed during the day and very good bowling was witnessed. The results at the end of the third round are:— ' Two Lifers: A. King and C: Good; R. Morpeth and Littlejohn. One Lifer: E. J. Bell and E. Grant; D. Anderson and W. Howat Senr.; F. Cockerell and E. Currah; P. Sims and P. Dixon; R. Spong and GOswald; C. Hayward and A. McIsaac; C. Davis and P. Smoljan; P. Fraser and M. Merito; R. Gerring and W. Harris.
