CITIZENS BAND

PROGRAMME AT ROTORUA The Whakatane Band, under the baton of Mr W. Jarrett, was in attendance the whole day at the N.Z. Freshwater • Speedboat Championships held in Rotorua on Saturday last, and many compliments were heard expressed by those present on the standard of performance. Residents of Whakatane may well be proud of their Band, and grateful to Mr Jarrett for the work he has put in to bring it to such a pitch that it is requested by another and larger Borough to come through and play for them on such an occasion..
