POINTS PRIZE AWARDS ADDITIONAL LIST The following Points Prizes which were won at the Whakatane and Rangitaiki A. and P. ShoAV last Saturday have come; to hand and show a wide range of fresh awards covering all sections:—

Jersey Section: The Wright, Stephenson Co. Ltd. Cup for the most points in the Jersey Section: Boon and Berg with 34 points; runner-up: K. I’Anson with 32 points. Dairy Section: The Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Co. Ltd., special prize for the most points awarded for all breeds of Pedigree Stock under two/ years of age: A. H. Adams with 28 points; runner-up: K. I’Anson with 26 points.

Pig Section: The Society’s Cup for annual competition for the most points in the Pig Section: E. R. Hunt with 54 points; runner-up: Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Co. with 40 points. Combined Bay of Plenty Young Farmers’ Porker Competition (on hoof): Colin A, Martin 1, H. White 2, L. Broadmore 3.

Sheep Section: Champion Southdown Ewe: Lindsay Johnson; Champion Southdown Ram: E. R. Hunt. Industrial Sections

Flowers: Mrs A. C. Martin with 66 points; runner-up: Mrs L. Berg with 32 points. ? Pickles and Preserves: M. Wylde with 130 points; runner-up: Mrs G. W. Bennett with 122 points.

Cooking: Mrs E. Hill with 70 points; runner-up: Mrs A. Magee with 68 points. Needlework: Miss Righton with 48 points; runner-up: Mrs C. D. Jacobson with 46 points. Aggregate: Mrs G. W. Bennett with 190 points; runner-up: Mrs M. Wylde with 182 points.
