ST. GEORGE’S v TANEATUA A DRAWN MATCH St. George’s (Whakatane) met Taneatua in a keen tennis match recently. The result was twelve games to each club though on the aggregate St. Georges won by 160 sets to 135.

Men’s Singles: E. Wilson 9 beat J. Semmens 2; v P. Bryers 9 beat R. Rawson 4; W. Howat 9 beat R. Hill 3; M. Berg 9 beat C. Butler 2; R. Hansen 9 beat G. Grey 3; B. Johnson 8 lost to M. Rawson 9.
