Taneatua War Memorial Meeting
Taneatua residents are reminded of the meeting tonight at 8 p.m. in the Taneatua Hall to discuss the question of the local War Memorial. Shoiw Membership Grows The membership of the Wliakatane and Rangitaiki A. and t*. Society has grown over the past few weeks to just over 250. This sudden fillup is yet another indication of the reawakened interest in show affairs. Weight Guessing Competitions The weight guessing competitions conducted at the Show on Saturday resulted as under: Pig (1361b5): Mr A. E. Anderson, R.D.; Sheep (130 lbs) W. Thompson; Goose (91b. loz): T. Schou; Aggregate (2751bs loz): Max Hunt.
