Teachers Courses
With the arrival of the last of the visitors by railcar the stage is set at New Plymouth for the first national refresher course for North Island primary school head teachers. It is estimated there will be a roll of 240, most of the visiting men using the accommodation at the boys' high school, where the course is to be held. More than 100 applicants for the course had to be turned away because of insufficient accommodation, said the chairman, Mr H. C. D. Somerset, of the community centre, Feilding. A
