RIFLE SHOOTING
RANGITAIKI CLUB’S DAY The Rangitaiki Rifle Club held a practice shoot lost Saturday. Two competitions were held, one at the 200 yards and one at the 300 yards range, seven shots being fired at each range. Targets were N.R.A. Bisley pattern. Considering most of the rifles were just out of'the box and used with open sights the scores were very good. Davies scored the possible at the'3oo yards. The next shoot will be held on Saturday, February 1. Details were:— 200 yards: W. Moore 33 ;TT Davies 32; P. Newton 29; V. Green 28; W. Mayo 27; P. McGillan 26;. T. Mugridge 25; Renata 24; F. McGillan 21; T. Mugridge 21; L. Baldock 20; F. Newton 19.
