A GALLANT PRISONER

The humanity and bravery of a German prisoner of war named Franz Seibt have been deservedly honoured. He was working on a farm in Aberdeenshire when a British farm worker was gored by a bull. Seibt ran to the prostrate man and, in spite of the bull’s attack, did his best to rescue him. The German has been given the Carnegie Hero Fund honorary certificate and £lO.
