SAWDUST PLANKS
The great waste in the manufacture of lumber has often been lamented, but now engineers are able to take one ton of sawdust, and out of it make two thousand square feet of first quality, strong, water-resist-ant wallboard. The sawdust goes to a mixer where a chemical is added. A few minutes are allowed for mixing, and then we have the new boards squeezed out in a huge hydraulic press, and the work is complete. This wood'may be moulded like a plastic, and in any shape—and it is said to cost comparatively little!
