Zoo Contretemps
A television commentator’s life has its dangers. The British Broadcasting Corporation reports that Philip Slessor of their staff went to the London Zoo recently to interview Lien Ho, the giant panda, before the television camera. The panda must not have enjoyed publicity, for it took one look at the camera and then swiped at Slessor’s legs, severely damaging his trousers. Clothes rationing in England makes that sort of thing no joke.
