Carols Rendered

Last Sunday evening, a programme of Christmas carols was rendered by the Whakatane Citizens’ Band •throughout the Borough. The Band split into two sections, and in vehicles were taken to different parts of the Borough where they gave several renderings before moving on .again. The items were very much -•appreciated by residents, many of whom were sorry that the selection ,«t each stop had necessarily to be .-50 short.
