DISTINCTION FOR N-Z.

RAM-CHAMPION SHEEP FOR • URUGARY

Great progress has been made in the Corri.edale breed in the various South American countries, but probably in Uruguay the breed has developed to' a higher level than in any other part of South America. The highest previously paid was 1000 guineas for a rani bought on behalf of an Australian breeder. The purchaser of the new world’s record priced ram is Senor Mario Pascual, 18, do Julio 1076, Montevideo, Uruguay, who is establishing a new Corriedale Stud on his model stud farm in Uruguay. Senor Pascual, who is without doubt a most enterprising buyer, also purchased 9 prize winning ewe hoggets
