Oldest Motor Car in Dominion

A 50-year-old Benz motor car,' said to be the oldest in the Dominion, again came into prominence in Hastings during the last days of the election campaign with a prominently displayed placard reading: “It’s time for a change.” The driver and passengers were attired in period costume, complete with side whiskers. A large crowd witnessed its progress through the heavy press of traffic. The car performed so well that the owners have in mind a trip to Palmerston North.
