SCOUT PRESENTATION

GUIDE COMMISSIONER HONOURED

A pleasing- incident in last Saturday’s Scout Rally at Thornton was the presentation to the District Guide Commissioner, Mrs J. Rushbrook of an oil painting from the district Scout fraternity in appreciation of her co-operation and fine record of work in the Wliakatane area. The County Commissioner made the presentation and wished Mrs Rushbrook continued success and enjoyment in. the splendid movement in which she served.

Mrs Rushbrook expressed her deep appreciatiop of the gesture and in a happy address to the boys on parade wished them all the best of luck and ‘good Scouting’ for the future.
