RECORD DAIRY FIGURES

RANGITAXKI COMPANY’S RETURNS OCTOBER BUTTERFAT There appears to be every indication that the 1946-47 dairy season as far as the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Company is concerned, will be a record one. The company handled its greatest output in 1940 when over 5000 tons were manufactured. In that year the butter manufactured for the month of October was 627 tons. For the same month in 1945 it was 635 tons. A better indication is furnished by the total for the season to October which in 1940 was 3366 tons and in the present year is 1447 tons.
