Mr T. Parker, -Chairman of the South Auckland St. John Association, when speaking at the official opening and dedication ceremony of the new St. John Ambulance Hall last Saturday said that all would be pleased to hear that a few days ago notification had been received that the King had granted the right to establish a Priory for the Dominion which would be at Headquarters Wellington. The Governor-General would be the first. Prior. The new move was a distinct honour for New Zealand and would mean an immense saving of time in handling certificates which formerly had to go all the way to England.
