Ranging and Impounding

At the last meeting of the Whakatane County Council, the Inspector (Mr A. Carling) intimated in his report that 32 horses and four head of cattle had been impounded or removed from the County roads and the State Highways during ithe; month. Total pound, driving and sale fee's collected amounted,to £44 4s 6d. One dead horse had been removed from Rewarau Road.
