WAIMANA GOLF CLUB

PRESENTATION OF TROPHIES

The closing day of the Waimana Golf Club was held recently, and several competitions were indulged in. During the day, Mr L. A, Ducker, president,. presented the trophies won during the season and also congratulated the winners of the competitions and also thanked the members who had done so much to help and to make the season the success it was. The winners were:— Men’s A Championship: F. Mitchell; runner-up :F. Burke. Men’s B Championship: D. Woolfield; runner-up: M. King. Men’s. C Championship; M. Tipping; runner-up: N. Cooper. Ladies’ A . Championship: Mrs Ducker. Ladies’ B Championship: Miss C. Burke. Hughes Cup, Men: C. J. Menzies; runner-up: L. Ducker. Hughes Cup, Ladies: Miss F. Woolfield. Morton Cup: L. Ducker; runnerup: D. Woolfield. Jerram Cup: Mrs Leather. Club Trophy: D. Woolfield. Ringer Competition, Men: A. Angus. . / Ringer Competition, Ladies: Mrs Leather. Flag Match, trophy donated by Mrs Leather: Miss F.
