By adding his quota to the seven hundred or more autographed books :in the library of Miss Minnie Thomas of Napier, the Mayor (Mr E. Andrews) has joined a select company that includes Winston Churchill, ‘Grade Fields, Don Bradman and many other, famous people. For many years Miss Thomas has been writing to noted people asking them to give her a book autographed by the donor, and, apart from the value •of some of the autographs, her library includes many signed works by noted writers.
