Scout Presentation

The Bay of Plenty Boy Scout Association was represented at a special gathering at 1 Matamata on Saturday last when some 500 boys gathered to farewell Commissioner Southron on his retirement from active scouting work. Commissioner King-sley-Smith and J. Roberts, with Mr F. N. Christian of Tauranga, represented the Bay, and handed Commissioner '‘Southron a presentation book in recognition of his ready cooperation in all matters pertaining to scouting in the district.
