The demonstration on mop making, given by Mrs Peck of Otakiri, proved most interesting and many members decided to make one for themselves. Mrs Peck was accorded a hearty vote of thanks for her demonstration. Competition results were as follows: Best bloom, Mrs A. Jamieson 1; Mrs C. IJallett 2. Two lettuce, Mrs J. Cannell 1; Mrs Jamieson 2. The serving of afternoon tea brought a pleasant afternoon to a close.
