OPENING DAY DRAW SELECTION OF TEAMS Following is the draw for games to be played under the auspices of the Whakatane Cricket Association on Opening Day, October 27: Taneatua v Edgecumbe at Taneatua. United v Paroa at Te Teko.' The Waimana v P. and T. match has been postponed. All games will commence at 9.30 a.m. Edgecumbe The Edgecumbe team will be selected from the following players:— Phillips, Jamieson, Magee, Pope,' Toohill, Newbiggen, Cobden, Laurie, Hegh, Schrodski, Storer, Goodhew, Carter, Learning, Woods, Wilson and Scott. Players are requested to contact the secretary concerning transport. Taneatua The following Taneatua players are requested to be at the Taneatua ground by 9.30 a.m.: Sykes, Wardlaw, Gardiner, Glover, Baikie, Barker, McCready, Shaw, Semmens, McGougan, Rivett, Peebles, Keesing, Green and Bennett. The following players are requested to be at the Domain Pavilion at 8.45 a.m. in order to commence the game with Paroa at Te Teko at 9.30 a.m.: N. Rigden, W. Crawford, C. Wallace, J. Moore, J. G. Moore, G. Parkes, R. Schou, W. McKenzie, C. Reid, N. Rigden, B. Waller.
