Whakatane A 13, Tauranga B 8. Whakatane A 18, Putaruru 3. Finals: Tauranga A 22, Whakatane 9. B Grade Athletic Cup Whakatane B 8, Rainster 2. Whakatane B 11, Katikati 5. Whakatane B 5, College A 2. Whakatane B 6, Cambridge 6. Semi-finals: Whakatane B 11, Cambridge 5. Finals: Netherton 14, Whakatane B 7. Players are requested to be on the courts at 1.15 to play the Businessmen’s teams. All players are reminded to bring a plate of cakes. BUSINESSMEN v GIRLS All’men who took part in Basketball matches against girls are asked to report at the School Courts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 5, to compete against the Whakatane A. and B. teams. The match will be a curtain raiser to the game to be played between Rotorua and Whakatane.
