CORSO

GREEK SCOUTS GREETINGS TO N.Z. On behalf of 3000 Boy Scouts in Kavalla, Greece—where N.Z. CORSO Welfare teams have been operating—Anastassios Koukoulios has written a letter “to the Boy Scouts of New Zealand” in which he sends “cordial greetings to all Scouts of your beloved and heroic country.” “We have had the opportunity to get acquainted with your representatives here in Kavalla,” he writes, “who offered valuable service for which coming generations will be grateful. The sacrifice of your fathers and brothers in our country is an impetus to the cause of freedom. We Boy Scouts of all free nations, having common ideals and principles taught by our founder Lord Baden Powell, will carry on the fight to maintain these ideals and principles.” The original Greek letter, which was forwarded to CORSO by Mr G. H. Gilling, has been sent to the Secretary of the Boy Scouts Association, Wellington.
