GANG CLEANED UP

The Polish Citizens’ Militia has liquidated the dangerous gang of terrorists called “Rota.” The gang operated in the Brzoza and Nowa Wies districts.

The leader, Jozef Trojan (alias Kruk) who became a “Volksdeutsch” (Germanised Pole) under the Nazi occupation, was killed in the fight with the Militia. The “Rota” gang had carried out armed raids on farmers, mills and dairies, and also killed Militia members.
