Brebner) reported that an up-to-date inspection had disclosed that the river diversion at Waimana was continuing to develop as planned, the groyne having had to stand up to severe tests. A willow tree washed from the west bank near the lower end of the groyne had settled some distance lower down near the eastern side, but this would be removed and used for protection, purposes when the river level dropped sufficiently.
