DOG GOT HIS SHEEP MIXED
Two golfers, who looked reasonably like sheep to one sheepdog at Stirling, Scotland, refused to act the part—and that spoilt a sheepdog trial, and a game of golf. The golfers, wearing bright pullovers, caught the eye of a dog during the sheepdog trials in King’s Park, in which was also a golf course. The dog’s job was to bring five sheep 400 yards to his master. The dog made off in the direction of the two golf players, and could not be persuaded that they were not sheep. He kept circling round them trying to head them off toward his master. Finally he had to be called off and withdrawn from the trials.
