This week an extra medal round will be played. There will be po draw because this week too the first round of the championships must be played and those not playing matches may choose their own partners. The championship draw is:— (The number in brackets indicates the place of qualification).

B: Mrs Dawson (1) v Mrs Combes (9); Mrs Dewar (5) v Mrs Jarrett (13); Mrs Sloane (7) v Mrs Fraser (15); Miss Robins (3) v Mrs Otley (11) Miss Carter (4) v Mrs Pearse (12) Mrs Suckling (8) v Mrs Connell (if); Miss Hyland (6) v Miss Otley (14); Mrs Winstone(2) v Mrs Fog'erty (10).
C: Miss Campbell (1) v Miss Wilson (5); Miss Hancock (3) v Miss McLeod (7); Miss Suckling (4) v Miss Gartshore (8); Mrs Stone (6) v Mrs Fennell' (2). Those matches must be played and results written up before September 24.
The winners of last week’s medal were: A, Miss Black 91—15, 76. B, Miss Robins 99—26, 73. Miss Armstrong 115.
