Awakeri Baby Show Results

It has been pointed out to us that the'mention of Mrs Melville’s baby in a recent article as 'winner of the recent Baby Show at Awakeri, may lead to confusion. The actual facts we understand were that three children were adjudged equal and that it was decided in a friendly way to draw for the first prize which fell to baby Bloxham. The position is one which must 1 mean no small degree of pride on the part of all three mothers concerned and we extend our • congratulations afresh accordingly.
