INDOOR BASKETBALL
TONIGHT’S DRAW SECOND ROUND COMMENCES The second and final round for the championship commences tonight, only two teams remaining unbeaten at the end of the first round. Wairaka ladies team has shown outstanding form so far, as have the Gremlins team, leaders in the men’s competition. Both have shown nice combination but as the other teams are now settling down better, there is every chance of a change in the position for the championship. The following is the draw for tonight:—
6.30 p.m.: Wairaka v Terrors -(ladies). 7 p.m.: Wairaka v Wairaka Colts (men).
7.40: Beacon v Public Service (ladies). 8.10: Gremlins v Gym (men). 8.50: Druids v W.S.Q. (ladies). 9.20: Pirates v Druids (men). Referees (Ist game) Miss Zinsli .and M. Duley. Scorers (Ist game) Miss Farrell .and Miss Hall. Doorkeepers: Beacon team.
