PERSONAL
The Rev. W. R. Fraser, one of the Maori Missionaries of the Presbyterian Maori Mission, superintended by the Very Rev. J. G. Laughton, visited Whakatane yesterday, attending as an associate member to the Bay of Plenty Presbytery Meeting, held in Knox Presbyterian Church, and presided over by Rev. Wainioright of Tauranga. The Rev. Fraser was, until recently, at Papakura Military Camp, leaving there when the troops departed for Japan. He has now terminated his Chaplaincy, and is engaged in the Te Whaiai Presbyterian Maori Mission as assistant to the, Rev. R. Madill, which position he will hold for six months.
