New Russian Car

United States car manufacturers and oil companies are reported to be taking seriously a Russian claim that a young Russian engineer has invented a car that costs nothing to run. The car is stated to have no engine, no gearbox, and no fuel tank. The “vehiclemobile,” as it is called, is electrically driven. It can run only on roads where a cable has been laid under the asphalt to feed electricity by induction to a copper loop or aerial on top of the car.
