PETER DAWSON
The name Dawson could well be» termed a magic word in the worldt of entertainment, because there is possibly no living artist so universally beloved by young and old alike. How has the great baritoneachieved this widespread popularity? Not alone because of his magnificent voice, or his charm of manner on the stage, but because he: has endeared himself both to theclassically minded by reason cf his., undoubted artistry, and to the man. in the street because he knows better than any other artist how to sing a rollicking song of the sea, robust song—a song of life. Following his present New Zealand tour, the great baritone will journey to London to fulfill contracts there as he is an immensely popular figure on the English stage. His forthcoming visit here is causing intense interest and promises to be a memorable one. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
