Films That Will Not Return
A Wellington picture corporation is destroying large quantities of film. Among the films are several well-known ones, including Lost Horizon, His Girl Friday, The King Steps Out, and Mr Smith Goes' to Washington. Many others, some long features and a number of shorts will also be junked. The film has accumulated over six years. It was held by with the hope of finding an eastern market. Japan was at one time a prospective buyer. Now the film has little use.
