VALEDICTORY
MR ERIC LIST FAREWELLED A smoke concert to farewell Mr Eric List of the staff of the Rangitaiki Plains Dairy Company was held in the company’s staff social room at Edgecumbe on Tuesday evening. In making a presentation of a •cheque from the staff, Mr J. Becker made reference to Mr List’s 14 years of service with the company. During the evening Deputy-Superinten-dent Fred Villis presented Mr List with a smokers stand on behalf of the R.P.D. Company’s Volunteer Fire Brigade. The opportunity was taken during the evening of extending congratulations to ’ Mr Fred Villis who has been appointed First Assistant to the Dairy Company: Mr List is leaving to take up a position as Manager of the Hinuera Dairy Factory.
