WIIAKATANE LADIES’ CLUB On Saturday and Wednesday of this week a fourball best ball will be played. Partners for Wednesday will be:— Mrs Symmans and Miss Black; Mrs Berg and Mrs Otley; Mrs Dewar and Mrs Dawson; Mrs Sloane and Mrs Suckling; Mrs Fogerty and Miss Robins; Mrs Fraser and Miss Reynolds; Miss Otley and Miss Righton; Mrs Wilson and Mrs Grey; Mrs Rangi and Mrs Spence; Mrs Breckon and Mrs McCowan; Mrs Connell and Mrs Donaldson; Mrs Semmens and Miss Hyland; Mrs Fennell and Miss Armstrong; Mrs Ker and Miss Venables.
Partners for Saturday will be:— Mrs Winstone and Miss Carter; Mrs Jarrett and Miss Nankivell; Mrs Pearse and Mrs Burke; Mrs Otley and another; Miss Campbell and Miss Hancock; Mrs Cockerell and Miss Wilson; Mrs Stone and Mrs Hay; Miss McLeod and Miss Suckling; Miss Warren and Miss Gartshore; Miss Le Lievre and Miss Armstrong; Miss Hobson and Miss Hooper. On each day the pairs must arrange their own partners. The first round of the Allan trophy resulted: Miss Black beat Mrs Combes; Mrs Dawson beat Miss Carter; Mrs Symmans beat Mrs Fraser; Miss Nankivell beat Miss Righton; Mrs Otley beat Mrs Jarrett; Mrs Fogerty won by default from Mrs Berg; Mrs Sloane beat Miss Otley; and Mrs McCowan beat Mrs Burke. The third round of the Allan trophy must be played before 7th August.
