The first round of the Allan trophy resulted: Miss Black beat Mrs Combes; Mrs Dawson beat Miss Carter; Mrs Symmans beat Mrs Fraser; Miss Nankivell beat Miss Righton; Mrs Otley beat Mrs Jarrett; Mrs Fogerty won by default from Mrs Berg; Mrs Sloane beat Miss Otley; and Mrs McCowan beat Mrs Burke. The third round of the Allan trophy must be played before 7th August.
