SUCCESSFUL DANCE

2nd N-.Z.E.F. ASSOCIATION The 2nd N.Z.E.F. Association staged a very successful dance in the Caledonian Hall last Friday evening. A good crowd of dancers assembled and the evening passed pleasantly. The Rhythm Vendors Orchestra supplied popular music for all numbers, both old-time and modern, whilst Mr O. Harland made a capable Master of Ceremonies. An interval was called in the evening for a tasty supper which provided ample refreshment for the dancers. Proceedings concluded at 12.20, owing to the advertisement which had been noticed stating that the power supply would be cut off at 12.30. It so happened that the power remained on till ten minutes past one! But 12.20 was not inordinately early for the function to conclude, for in that time, patrons had experienced a goodly helping of firstclass entertainment.
